Windows 95/98 provides these drivers as a part of the Windows package. I use this Printer directly on the parallel port and it has been a good dot matrix printer for many years. With the correct ribbon it can print color although the new ink jet printers available today are a lot better in quality in color. It is near or equal to typewriter quality in everyday use. As far as I can tell by looking at my C /windows/system/ folder and the device list those files are EPXLPT.vxd VMM32.vxd Epson24.drv DMCOLOR.dll These are included in this LQ2550.zip
