Description
Create a new folder on the hard drive, such as c:\dj6127, before downloading the printer driver.
Download the driver to the newly created c:\dj6127 folder.
Before Installing
For Network Installation: Before installing the printer software on a networked computer, verify the following:
The printer is set up and powered on.
The ethernet hub or router is powered on and functioning properly.
All computers on the network are powered on and connected to the network.
The printer is connected to the ethernet network.
If the printer has been previously installed on a different computer with a USB cable, disconnect the USB cable from the printer during network software installation.
Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to install the downloaded printer software:
Double-click on the downloaded printer software file to extract the driver files and begin the software installation process.
Follow the onscreen instructions and use the following information to complete the installation:
Printer connection: For a network connected printer, choose "Connected via the network"
Network setup: Choose "Basic network setup for a PC or server (recommended)"
After the installation has completed, follow the onscreen instructions to print a test page.
